Writing and having a novel published has become a learning experience of new terms and hopefully skills, including page layout, which is the current stage of my first novel, Black Friday – An American Jihad.
The email came today, Black Friday page layout is complete and the novel is ready for the next step; final cover design. But first, it’s time to review every single page for mistakes, misspellings, and improper formatting. Of course, there shouldn’t be any but the final responsibility rests with the author and everyone wants to publish as perfect a book as possible.
The process is progressing more quickly than expected and Black Friday should be in print by June or July, plenty of time to have it available for holiday shoppers.
Again, the help that so many friends provided is greatly appreciated and noted in the book. The story would not have become what it is, without the help of many people. Every single one of you added something; however large or small to the story or at least made me think about aspects that could be changed to make the story flow.
I can’t express my true appreciation to everyone who helped the story progress from an idea to the final draft and I’m sure I have missed thanking more than a few people. Please understand that I do thank you and will keep better notes of who helps with edits and / or suggestions with my next novel, which is progressing nicely.
