Ol’ School Saturday Night Block Party

We’ve recently relocated to Dallas NC, near to where we grew up. It’s a small town west of Charlotte, with character and charm.

Tonight was the last summer block party – normally the second Saturday of the month during the summer. Downtown streets are closed off, people bring their classic cars and a band plays from 7pm to 10pm.

Being new to the area this was our first time coming but we had a blast, as did our four year old grandson, Zeb. He was tired from a long day but not too tired to dance with his MiMi and PopPop. Even the dog – Ganja – jumped up and joined the fun.

The town square is a few minute walk from the new house and this is going to be a must, if we’re still here next summer.
