Relaxing and writing don’t always go together, but when accompanied by a good cigar – and sometimes a nice glass of cognac or scotch – the job of writing is quite relaxing, like today.
After a long day of driving, I was lucky enough to run up on Bay Area Cigars. A quick u-turn brought me back to the front door. They have a nice cigar selection and a peaceful lounge. Anyone would enjoy spending time here. The fans are quite, so it’s easy to work.
The new novel is progressing well. The first draft should be complete by late August. I’ll be attending a writers conference in New York and hope to pitch the story to a few agents. The conference is promoting that more than 50 agents will be at the conference and all will be looking for new authors.
This will be my first writers conference and I hope to come away with new talents and more contacts. Until then, my nose is in the computer every free moment
