Take Time to Enjoy Life

Money and success are great. Fame might be too, I don’t know yet, but nothing is worth giving up the small things in life. We need to take time to enjoy life and what it offers. If not, what’s the point?

I don’t always follow my own advice but recently realized I’m not getting any younger. Not only that, I’m getting older. In fact, if i reach the average age of 72 then I have less than 25 days remaining. 25 winters, 25 summers, 25 September 13ths to spend with my wife, kids and grandson. That’s not much time.

No amount of money, no book or anything else is worth missing extra time away from the ones I love the most. Nothing is worth missing unnecessary time from family and or that cigar with a friend.

Don’t get me wrong, I have to work and want to write another book but without enjoying life these things are pointless.

Take the time to enjoy life, friends, family and all they have to offer. Live every day like it’s your last and make sure you have no regrets.
