Traveling for work has it’s advantages. I’ve been to 49 states for work and parts of Canada. I’ve visited every major National Park and seen attractions from well known to roadside. The problem is, I don’t always remember where I am, when I wake up.
I’m used to waking up in my own bed, on the left side. I’m used to walked a certain direction to the bathroom. I have a routine. Waking up in a strange hotel – oriented differently than my bedroom – has caused more than a few bumps in the night.
Overall, it’s worthwhile. I just have to remember where the bathroom door is, instead of the wall.
