Facebook is the granddaddy of social media sites, and I’ve been a member since 2007, originally to keep up with my kids and see what they were up to. Like many others, it captured my attention and helped me reconnect with friends from high school and beyond. Although my children and grandson have moved to other platforms, I still find myself drawn to the familiar website for most of my social postings. There are times when activity is higher than others, and moments when I skip it altogether, along with everything else, but these periods don’t last long. Facebook is a great place to share my travels, writings, and updates. Follow me there.

I’ve struggled to call Twitter “X” because it sounds like a porn site, but I still post there, though less often than on other social media platforms. Still, I do post here occasionally and randomly. This is a common place for me to follow others. If you’d like me to follow you, visit Twitter/X and invite me to follow your account. That’s the best way to reach me. I look forward to seeing you there soon.

Instagram is a great place to share short updates and photos, which I do quite often. Whether I’m on a cruise to Spain or Tokyo, driving to the beach, skiing, hiking, or running my steam locomotive, a phone or camera is always within reach to document the moment. In fact, at last check, I had over 120,000 photos stored on my iPhone. No, that’s not a typo. That’s the number of images on my phone, many of which I share online. Why? I have no idea. That’s just the world we live in. To share with friends and family, to boast a little, who knows? For whatever reason, you’ll find many of my photos shared here.

With over 2.5 billion users worldwide, YouTube is the third-largest social media platform and a place where I have uploaded some of the most ridiculous videos you can imagine. I plan to post video reviews of the books I read, along with written reviews on this site. If you want to see these reviews – I’m not a professional reader or reviewer – then follow my YouTube channel. Be warned: you may occasionally see off-topic and/or off-color videos about the most random things you can imagine. But I promise it’s always a fun ride on the Greg J. Gardner roller coastera,d all are invited to join the journey.
